As Head of Business Development, you will help oversee our firm's business and product development efforts with leading financial institutions and institutional investors, so that SolidusLink can be these institutions' preferred platform to trade real precious metals. You will work alongside a small team of talented and experienced team members including ex-Googlers and industry leaders from banking, investing, and market structure. Joining as one of the first several executives, you will be among SolidusLink’s first 25 full-time employees, with a unique opportunity to shape the company’s culture and future.
The ideal candidate for the role of Head of Business Development has a verifiable track record as a leader at a bank, broker-dealer, clearing firm, exchange, or a core technology provider to these firms, and possesses an in-depth awareness of the industry's product, technology, and partnership strategies. They must have a reputation of trust among decision makers of financial institutions. They will have been recognized by peers for successes in major product, technology, and/or partnership initiatives. The candidate also must be an excellent communicator who can confidently lead discussions with team members and other key stakeholders.
What You’ll Do
Take the lead on building partnerships with financial institutions
Lead demos and discovery sessions with target partners
Hire and lead a global team
Become a thought leader and advocate for multi-dealer trading and post-trade technology in the precious metals industry
Systematically track client and prospect interactions, keep structured records of client issues and product feedback to pass on to support and operations teams
