As a SolidusLink Senior Software Engineer, you will help lead the design, development, and maintenance of our high-performance trading platform core infrastructure. You will work alongside a small team of talented and experienced team members including ex-Googlers and industry leaders from banking, investing, and market structure. You will be among SolidusLink’s first 25 full-time employees, with a unique opportunity to shape the company’s culture and future.
The ideal candidate for the role of Senior Software Engineer has a verifiable track record as a leader in designing and delivering software systems that have delivered significant business impact. They will have been recognized by peers for successes in major product and technology initiatives. The candidate also must be an excellent communicator who can confidently lead discussions with team members and other key stakeholders.
What You’ll Do
Architect, implement, and maintain scalable, high-performance systems
Optimize performance in a system where every microsecond counts
Analyze and mitigate risks to guarantee system security and robustness
Design pragmatic, industry-leading solutions to solve difficult real-world problems
Contribute to production system reliability
Detail-oriented, you take pride in writing elegant code
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong Linux proficiency
10+ years of experience in design, implementation, and maintenance of full-stack distributed systems
Experience with two or more of: C/C++, Java, Go, Rust
Embedded systems, high-performance computing, or FPGA experience a plus
Ability to find creative ways to make progress even in the presence of uncertainty or obstacles
