Automation, SRE, Test Mid-Level Engineer

Job Responsibilities: As a Mid-Level Software Engineer, you will be key in leading initiatives and collaborate on reliability, testability, automation, monitoring, optimization, and improvement of system health. Your expertise will contribute to building robust software solutions that align with our business goals and exceed customer expectations.

Required Technical Skills

○     Experience in SRE, Automation, and Software Development

○     Proficiency in writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code, including unit testing

○     Experience in cloud automation and integration

○     Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

Preferred Technical Skills

○     Preferred 5 years of professional experience in Java development

○     Proficiency with test frameworks

○     Experience with DevOps practices and tools

○     Experience with Containerisation (Docker etc)

○     Proficiency with Spring Boot and Spring Security frameworks

○     Experience with event-sourcing systems

○     Experience with Kotlin/Scala/Clojure

○     Experience with Auth0

Soft Skills

○     Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities, particularly in diagnosing complex distributed systems.

○     Ability to work independently (remote-first) and proactively identify automation opportunities

○     Demonstrated accountability and ownership of tasks and projects

○     High level of adaptability and flexibility in dynamic environments with evolving project requirements

○     Effective oral and written communication skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Educational Qualifications

○     Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent professional experience

○     Preferred: MSc/PhD
